Report: Tottenham unlikely to add Skriniar or Rudiger before deadline, Mourinho happy with squad
Tottenham are looking increasingly less likely to sign both Milan Skriniar or Antonio Rudiger today, with both players seemingly slipping through their grasp.
Spurs had been looking to complete their summer recruitment with a move for Skriniar, while Rudiger had emerged as a target over the past week after falling out of favour at Chelsea.

But according to Sky Sports’ live transfer ticker (17:44), a move for either defender is looking increasingly unlikely.
However, it is claimed that Jose Mourinho is happy to make do with what he already has. Those options include Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier, and Toby Alderweireld, while he also has Japhet Tanganga as well.
The club have had a brilliant window which has seen them land Gareth Bale on a loan deal, along with impressive full-backs Matt Doherty, and Sergio Reguilon.

A move for Skriniar or Rudiger would have been the icing on the cake but it looks like being a case of not to be for Spurs.
A shame, but what a window for Tottenham – TBR View
And that’s how Spurs fans should view this summer under Jose Mourinho, who has been backed to the hilt by Daniel Levy and now must surely deliver top four football at least.
The squad looks brilliant. Key players such as Harry Kane and Heung Min Son are firing, while the depth is now impressive.
Of course, Skriniar or Rudiger would have been great but, alas, you can’t have everything!
