Tottenham are reportedly one of the clubs eye Middlesbrough defender Nathan Wood.
According to the Sun, Spurs are joined by Everton and Arsenal in tracking the highly-rated 17-year-old from Championship outfit Boro.
It is understood though that Premier League side Burnley are leading the pursuit for him and are lining up a £9million swoop when the transfer window re-opens in January.
The report details that Sean Dyche’s side failed with a summer move for him, but they are lining up fresh attempt to try take him to Turf Moor.
Wood is a teenage sensation that has come through the Boro academy and is slowly being integrated to the first-team at his young age.
The centre-back made his senior debut last season in the Carabao Cup and played three times in the competition.
He also featured in the same competition at the beginning of this season in one game, but is yet to make a league appearance.

TBR’s View:
Wood is an upcoming talent tipped for a big future and he’s already had a taste of first-team action at the Riverside.
He’s a ball-playing centre-back that is comfortable in possession like many modern day defenders.
The defender has represented England at youth level and definitely fits the profile of a Mauricio Pochettino signing, with a number of English players developing into top players under the current Spurs boss.
But it looks like Burnley are most keen on Wood and £9million would be a sizeable investment.
