Tottenham are set to press ahead with their pursuit of Swansea defender Joe Rodon but could well see the deal go down to the wire in terms of the EFL window closing this week.
According to The Telegraph, Spurs are still looking to sign Rodon and will look to wrap up the deal for the Wales defender in the coming days.

However, the report does claim that Tottenham could well be made to wait until the last minute to land Rodon. Over the weekend, it emerged that Leicester City are now also keen on the Welshman, who has four caps for his country.
But it remains Spurs who are in pole position to sign Rodon. Jose Mourinho identified the Swansea man after missing out on the likes of Milan Skriniar and Antonio Rudiger in the summer.

Spurs have already seen a bid worth around £7m rejected for Rodon. The Swans are said to be wanting closer to £20m before they consider parting ways with the 22-year-old.

It’s almost frustrating to read this sort of stuff but there is no way this deal isn’t going to go through before the weekend.
It looks like the teams are simply arguing over a fee and with Daniel Levy a master negotiator, expect to see Spurs land Rodon.
Furthermore, the defender won’t want to pass up the chance of a Premier League move.
