Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to battle it out with London rivals Chelsea for goalkeeper Andre Onana.
According to The Daily Mail, Spurs are on red alert over the 15-cap Cameroon international, who supposedly wants to quit the Dutch giants at the end of the season.

A transfer, the Mail say, could cost potential suitors somewhere in the region of £40-50 million.
Despite having apparently held talks with Barcelona, Onana’s preferred destination would be the Premier League.
It is thought Onana’s top choice would be the Blues, who are reportedly having some doubts about Kepa Arrizabalaga after some patchy form this season.

Both Tottenham and Chelsea have been able to take a look at Onana up close in recent times, with Frank Lampard’s Blues having faced Ajax in this season’s Champions League group stages, and Spurs having faced them at the semi-final stage last season.
Tottenham have to start thinking about investing in a new stopper for the long-term, with Hugo Lloris 33 and Paulo Gazzaniga arguably not at the required level to be the club’s number one.
TBR’s view – Onana would be a solid investment
Onana has proven to be a very capable goalkeeper over the past couple of years, and has been one of Ajax’s unsung heroes amid all the plaudits for Erik ten Hag’s side.

Onana stands out from a lot of other goalkeepers in the Eredivisie due to his wonderful athleticism and reflexes, and he most definitely doesn’t look out of place on the European stage.
Realistically Lloris doesn’t have much time left as Tottenham’s number one, and Daniel Levy has to carefully consider how best to adequately replace the Frenchman who, despite some errors along the way, has been a brilliant servant for the club.
