A report in the Italian media suggests that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bolster their midfield options this summer.
According to Calciomercato, Tottenham are hoping to sign three midfielders from across Europe to headline a summer of spending.
Spurs reportedly want Nicolo Zaniolo, Giovani Lo Celso and Rodrigo De Paul in the summer transfer window.
Zaniolo plays for Roma and is considered to be a top talent. The 19-year-old is a regular for Roma and has six goals to his name from midfield this season.
The Italy international also represents his country despite still being a teenager and he could be a sensible long-term option.
Lo Celso is also a potential target. Real Betis have now exercised their option to sign him permanently from Paris Saint-Germain after a successful loan spell.

The 23-year-old Argentine has scored 16 goals from midfield this season, including nine in La Liga.
Tottenham’s third target is De Paul. The 24-year-old winger plays for Udinese in Serie A and the Argentina national team.
De Paul has scored nine goals in the Italian top-flight this season and continues to impress since his move from Valencia in 2016.
Tottenham could be looking for a Christian Eriksen replacement and these three midfielders are candidates to succeed the Dane.
