Italian outlet FC Inter News have claimed that the agent of Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen travelled to Milan in ‘recent days’ to discuss the future of Eriksen with Inter’s CEO Beppe Marotta.
Eriksen, 27, is out of contract at the end of the season and many Spurs fans are keen to see him leave at the earliest possible point, after a perceived lack of effort in his outings since failing to secure an exit in the summer.
For Jose Mourinho’s first game in charge, Eriksen was left on the bench. Now, one of Mourinho’s old sides are looking to sign Eriksen and it is understood that the Dane’s agent has already met with Inter’s chief executive.
The report claims Marotta met with Eriksen’s agent recently, and was told that the ex-Ajax man wants a four-year deal worth £8.5million (£165,000 a week). It is believed Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are all interested.
Indeed, the report claims ‘half of Europe’ is after Eriksen.

TBR’s view – Can Spurs sell Eriksen in January?
Chairman Daniel Levy would like to. Selling the playmaker in January would at least bring in some cash for his services, unless foreign sides look to land the set-piece specialist on a pre-contract agreement – similar to Aaron Ramsey’s move to Juventus.
But if Levy reduces the asking price enough, interested parties may look to blow their rivals out of the water by signing him in the next window – and indeed prevent the chance of Eriksen performing a u-turn.
If the price is low enough and Levy is willing to accept that it could be at a figure of around £20million, then Spurs could indeed rake in some cash for the attacking midfielder in the winter window.
