Tottenham Hotspur are interested in landing Fiorentina Riccardo Sottil, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.
The 20-year-old can play anywhere across a front three and has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season.
Tottenham have sent a scout to watch the youngster in action and it isn’t the first time they have taken an interest in Sottil.
The Express reported back in September 2019 that Mauricio Pochettino had sent his scouts over to Florence to see the highly-rated forward in action.

Tottenham decided against making a bid that time around but despite Pochettino’s departure, it seems the club are still keen on his services
Jose Mourinho will surely want to make his own mark on the squad in the summer, with more new arrivals expected.
The Portuguese boss added Gedson Fernandes and Steven Bergwijn to his ranks in January, to complement a squad that already boasts lots of talent.
Sottil went on loan to Pescara last season where he got 12 appearances under his belt for the Serie B outfit.
This season he has been blended into the first team by boss Vincenzo Montella at the beginning of the season and more recently Giuseppe Iachini.
TBR View – Young guns the way forward for Mourinho?
In signed Fernandes and Bergwijn during the recent transfer window, Tottenham landed two players in the infancy of their career.
Could the reports linking Tottenham with a move for Sottil suggest that Mourinho wants to sign young gems with bags of potential?
It certainly wouldn’t be a bad idea for Spurs to take such a strategy in the transfer market.

The club already has lots of experience with the likes of Hugo Lloris, Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane all boasting lots of appearances at the top level.
Perhaps Mourinho is keen to lower the average age of his team in the summer.
Sottil is very highly-rated in Italy and Tottenham could do a lot worse than add the youngster to their ranks.
