Tottenham Hotspur would be open to selling Tanguy Ndombele, but only if they can recoup what they paid for the Frenchman.
According to Le10 Sport, the dynamo could yet depart north London with Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain supposedly keen.
The publication say sources have informed them that Ndombele can leave so long as a fee of at least €70 million/£63 million is received.
2019/20 was a topsy-turvy campaign for the former Lyon ace.
While he undoubtedly showed glimpses of a his quality, lack of consistency and also fitness problems did not help his cause.
There has been speculation over the relationship he has with manager Jose Mourinho, although there has recently been a report that has suggested the manager believes he can be a world-class asset.
TBR’s View – Tottenham may regret any sale
Tottenham may come to regret cashing in on Ndombele if they indeed accept a £63 million+ offer.
The ace was a total force in the Lyon midfield, combining power and technical quality to become one of the most promising in his position in the world.
Spurs have a gem on their hands and need to be patient.
Mourinho needs to find a way of getting the best out of him, because he has the capacity to dominate games.
It would be an absolute sickener for the fans if he went to another top club and flourished as he is capable of doing so now.
