Tottenham could move for Watford’s Troy Deeney on loan following the Hornets’ relegation to the Championship.
Deeney has been with Watford since 2010 and has clocked up almost 400 appearances for the club, earning legendary status in the process.

Thought to earn around £65,000-a-week (Spotrac
), he may have to depart to help Watford financially going forwards.
Spurs are seemingly hoping to secure another striker to help ease the burden for Harry Kane in 2020/21.
The England captain is the only recognised centre-forward at the club, with youngster Troy Parrott departing for Milwall on loan.
The north London club have been without a proper back-up for Kane since Fernando Llorente left the club at the end of the 2018/19 season.
TBR’s View – Deeney could be useful pick-up
It would by no means be a glamorous transfer, but Deeney could potentially do a job for a Mourinho-managed Tottenham.

The Portuguese has been no stranger to getting the best out of physical strikers down the years and Deeney certainly falls into that category of player.
It’s a deal that would not break the bank, and it would be something that would provide Tottenham with an alternative option in the 2020/21 season.
It probably isn’t something every supporter would be able to get behind, but surely he wouldn’t do any worse than Llorente in north London.
