Tottenham Hotspur could make a move for Simy of Crotone, as a cheaper alternative to their current options up-front.
Cheap option
The Telegraph say that Tottenham have both Danny Ings and Dusan Vlahovic on their radar as they seek striking additions.
But, interestingly, a move for Simy is also said to be a possibility now.
Simy is anticipated to be available at a cut price as his side, Crotone, were relegated from Serie A last term.
Heartbreak last season
The Nigerian hit 20 goals in Italy’s top flight, but was unfortunate not to do enough to keep his side afloat.

At the age of 29, it seems most likely that he would be a short-term option though.
Simy has never played in England before and may take some time to acclimatise.
But at 6ft 6inches he would definitely increase Tottenham’s aerial presence and there aren’t too many strikers in better form than him across Europe’s top divisions.
He could, therefore, prove to be a bargain – while Spurs assess their options for a long-term number nine to add competition with Harry Kane.
