Tottenham are reportedly more likely to sign Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele this summer than Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes.
According to the Sun, Spurs are eyeing a swoop for Lyon’s French enforcer and are aiming to bolster their midfield.
It is understood that the North London club have been monitoring the 22-year-old and he is valued at around £70million, but they feel they could complete a raid for him around £50million.
The report details that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have far more chance of landing Ndombele than another one of their summer targets.
A Bola reports that Spurs have joined the race for 24-yer-old goal machine Fernandes from Portuguese club Sporting, with Liverpool and Manchester United keen.
The attacking midfielder scored 32 goals and supplied 18 assists in 53 games across all competitions this season.
It is understood he’s got a £88.6million release clause at Sporting.

TBR’s View:
Spurs fans deserve to be targeting elite players after going two windows without signing a player and also reaching a Champions League final.
Ndombele is believed to be the more likely signing and that is perhaps excellent news.
He is a no-nonsense enforcer that could replace the void that Mousa Dembele has left and has so much potential to get better.
The powerhouse should have no difficulties adapting to the Premier League and has drawn comparisons with N’Golo Kante.
Meanwhile, Fernandes would be another strong addition if they can sign him but there is stiff competition for him.
