Tottenham Hotspur officials reportedly met with the agent of Bruno Fernandes on Wednesday evening.
The Sporting CP captain has been linked with a move to Spurs this summer after a fantastic season over in Liga NOS which saw him contribute to 50 goals in all competitions (32 goals, 18 assists).

According to The Telegraph, Miguel Pinho was in London yesterday evening to hold talks about a potential transfer for his client.
It would appear Spurs are attempting to keep their options open with the Giovani Lo Celso saga continuing to drag.
Manchester United are also said to be interested in Fernandes.
TBR’s view
Should Spurs’ proposed deal to sign Lo Celso fall through, then Fernandes would be a brilliant alternative for Mauricio Pochettino.
The 24-year-old’s statistics are quite remarkable given the position he plays.

Spurs are set to lose Christian Eriksen this summer and so could need an attacking midfielder who can make things happen.
Fernandes – who could cost at least £70 million (via The Express) – is hugely creative and arguably has a better eye for goal than the Dane and would cushion the blow of losing him.
