Report: Tottenham make move to sign Arsenal target with £85.8m release clause
According to Globo Esporte, Tottenham have made contact with Gremio over the availability of Vanderson, who’s also wanted by Arsenal.
What’s the story?
Well, AC Milan and Spartak Moscow are also keen on the Brazilian.
The 20-year-old put his name up in lights after scoring an incredible solo goal recently, which provided shades of a certain Dani Alves.
Tottenham have made an enquiry for the South American, who Globo Esporte believe has a €100m (£85.8m) release clause in his contract.

Vanderson is interested in a move to England’s top-flight.
However, Globo Esporte believe the youngster would require a work permit to play in the Premier League, which he may struggle to obtain at this stage of his career.
Tottenham and Arsenal set for Vanderson fight
Globo Esporte mention in their report that Arsenal also want the South American, who has made Gremio’s right-back position his own.
Despite his age, Vanderson has already made 40 appearances for Gremio, and looks set to have a very bright future in football.
Both north London clubs are in desperate need of a right-back.
Hector Bellerin wants to leave, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles doesn’t see himself as a right-back, leaving Cedric as Mikel Arteta’s main choice.
In Tottenham’s case, Serge Aurier and Matt Doherty have failed to make the position their own, leaving Japhet Tanganga to star at right-back against Manchester City.
However, the Englishman is naturally a centre-back, so a right-back is still needed in Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad.
