Tottenham Hotspur have supposedly made an ‘extraordinary’ offer to young Celta Vigo starlet Yago de Santiago.
The north Londoners have apparently been taking an interest in the Spanish club’s youth centre, with Santiago catching their eye according to Faro de Vigo.
Celta have a very good Cadet A side, and some of their young talents have been drawing the attention of some big clubs recently, including Barcelona.

Apparently one of their best talents is Santiago, and Faro de Vigo report that the player has actually already been for a look round at Spurs’ facilities in north London.
The club are said to have offered him a contract with ‘extraordinary numbers’.
TBR’s view
Little is known about Santiago, other than that he is only 16 years old and has scored 11 goals in 25 games for Celta’s Cadete and B Juvenil sides so far this term.
Spurs have not signed a single player for the past two transfer windows and fans have been clamouring to see fresh faces.

Santiago would very much be a player for the future. It’s likely he would spend a few years in the youth setup before making it into the first-team.
It’s potentially an exciting move, with Pochettino famed for his development of young players.
