Tottenham and Barcelona are interested in signing Italy’s Euro 2020 star Lorenzo Insigne, according to Corriere Dello Sport. It is also claimed that Napoli are struggling to convince him to stay in Naples beyond this summer.
The winger has started four of Italy’s five games at the Euros so far. He has scored twice, including a vital goal in Friday’s 2-1 victory over Belgium.
Roberto Mancini’s men have conceded just twice in the tournament so far. They face Spain on Tuesday looking for a place in Sunday’s showpiece final.

Following the competition, it seems as though some decisions will need to be made. Insigne has just a year remaining on his current deal and Napoli could look to sell.
Nuno Espirito Santo is getting his feet under the desk in his role at Tottenham. Along with Fabio Paratici, the pair will identify some signings to take the club forward next season.
Spurs and Barcelona are believed to have already made contact with the agent of Insigne. He earns £82,000-a-week at Napoli and may fancy the lure of a pay increase at Tottenham.
The winger has been with Napoli since 2012. He has scored 109 goals in 397 appearances and found the net 19 times during 2020/21.
Tottenham are desperate for options in the final third and with that in mind, a deal for Insigne looks like a wise thing to do if something can be done.
Paratici could be key in Tottenham signing Insigne
Tottenham’s new recruitment specialist has an invested interest in Serie A and knows Italian football superbly well.
As a result, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him attack that market during the summer transfer window.

Insigne would add some real quality in the final third. He scores goals and creates them, whilst his work rate is unbelievably good.
At 30 he might not be a long-term fix that some supporters crave. He does have a winning mentality though and he’d be an improvement on some of the club’s other attacking players.
