Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Manuel Locatelli, with Fabio Paratici considering rivalling Arsenal for the signature of the Juventus midfielder, according to a report from Calciomercatoweb.

Locatelli could be on the way out of Juve in one of the coming windows. He has not had the easiest time since arriving from Sassuolo.

He has played a fair amount in Serie A this season. But he is attracting attention from the Premier League.

Tottenham interested in Locatelli

Calciomercato. It recently reported that Arsenal are back in the market for the Italy international. And it seems that their North London neighbours could also make a move.

Calciomercatoweb reports that Tottenham are willing to do anything to tie Antonio Conte down to a new contract. And that may impact how they approach the market.

In fact, Paratici is monitoring Locatelli’s situation in Turin. And thus, Spurs could make a move for the 24-year-old.

Midfielder would be a superb addition for Spurs

Locatelli is yet to really get going with Juventus. They would be open to letting him go for £35 million. But he would be an extremely exciting signing for Tottenham.

Spurs have been strong in midfield for much of the season. The partnership between Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been particularly impressive since the former joined from Juventus himself.

Yves Bissouma was added to the ranks over the summer. And Oliver Skipp has barely had a chance so far. So they are well-stocked in that area of the field.

But Locatelli would improve those options further. He reads the game brilliantly, and he possesses a real quality on the ball.

He has actually been compared to Conte in the past (via Gazzetta dello Sport). So the Tottenham boss may have a better idea than most of how to get the best out of the Italy international – should Spurs make a move.
