Antonio Conte’s intensive training sessions have helped to get Tottenham fitter but they have lost their last two games.
The Italian has come up short against Manchester United and Newcastle ahead of a huge midweek in the Champions League.
Tottenham need to get back to winning ways against Sporting, who beat them 2-0 in Portugal earlier in the group stage.
And the Daily Mail report that Conte’s methods are starting to get some negative feedback from some Tottenham insiders.

Tottenham insiders on Conte training sessions
The report says the intensity of Conte’s regime is now sometimes getting draining for Tottenham’s players during a frantic season.
On top of that, his tactical sessions have been described as ‘repetitive’, as he drills his idea of football into his squad.
They say that some players run up to 2km during the warm-up on a match-day, which is a fair load on top of intense demands in the game.
Conte consistently refers to ‘suffering’ and it is clear he expects Tottenham’s players to do that an honour his expectations to get results.
Conte is stubborn and will not divert from his blueprint for success and bring trophies to Tottenham during his reign.
He is uncompromising and fitness is a huge part of what he tries to do with any club and Tottenham are no different to his old teams.
Spurs only have a few weeks now until the World Cup and they need to get their results and performances sorted before that.
Otherwise, they will have to generate fresh momentum when the season resumes thereafter, and Conte is expected to enter contract talks with Spurs during the tournament in Qatar.
