Tottenham are being linked with a move for Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic, with talks now underway between the Premier League and Serie A clubs about a possible deal.
According to Foot Mercato, Spurs have started discussions with Inter about the possibility of signing the 31-year-old this month.
It is explained that talks are underway about a loan move and Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be a big fan of the player.
The North London club still have several weeks left in the January transfer window to try negotiate a deal.
Perisic, who turns 32 in February, is an extremely experienced player that has proven himself on the highest stage.
The Croatia international scored for his country during the 2018 World Cup final defeat to France, plus during a loan spell at Bayern Munich last year he won the Champions League.
He returned to parent club Inter in this summer and has played 21 games for them so far this season, scoring two goals and setting up three assists.

TBR’s View:
Perisic is a left-winger by trade that is renowned for his directness on the ball and he’s a tricky customer that loves to run at defenders, which is why on paper he could be an exciting loanee for Spurs to try snap up.
The fact he works extremely hard defensively out of possession as well surely makes him a dream for Mourinho, but it seems odd that they would go chasing a deal this month for another forward player.
He’s got the versatility to play in several attacking positions, including down the middle, but realistically he’s a wide man that would be competing with the likes of Heung-Min Son, Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn, Gareth Bale and Erik Lamela if he did link up with the Spurs first-team.
