Report: Tottenham in talks with entourage of Dusan Vlahovic

Tottenham Hotspur appear to have stepped up their pursuit of Dusan Vlahovic, with Calciomercato.It reporting that they are now talking with his entourage.

What’s the story?

Vlahovic has put admirers on notice after rejecting the chance to extend his contract with Fiorentina.

Of course, it comes with the Serbian enjoying a stunning campaign with La Viola last year. He scored 21 times in Serie A.

And he has picked up where he left off at the beginning of this season. The youngster has scored four times in the top-flight, with six coming in all competitions.

Unsurprisingly, he is attracting interest. And with that, he has decided to turn down all offers of a new contract in Florence.

According to Calciomercato.It, Fabio Paratici is alert to the situation having wanted to sign Vlahovic for Juventus.

In fact, it is claimed that Tottenham are now speaking to his entourage.

Fiorentina will have little choice but to sell Vlahovic in the coming months. His contract expires at the end of next season.

It is a positive sign that Tottenham are seemingly laying the foundations for a future move.

He would be an outstanding signing. And his contract situation perhaps opens the door for a club to sign him for a reasonable price.

Paratici has shown already that he is prepared to make real statements in the transfer market. In particular, the deal for Cristian Romero looks a remarkable piece of business.

And perhaps a move for another of Serie A’s most impressive players has now moved a step closer.
