Tottenham Hotspur has started talks over a deal to bring Bournemouth striker, Josh King, to the club this summer, according to reports from the Chronicle.
Jose Mourinho is still actively scouring the market to try and find another striking option to help Harry Kane next season.

And according to this latest report, Spurs have held talks with King’s agent over a prospective move, as they look to beat Newcastle to the signing of the Cherries forward.
King, who has 46 caps and 17 goals for Norway, has been one of Bournemouth’s standout players over the last few seasons. Despite not being prolific in front of goal – he scored just six times last term – King has scored just shy of 50 Premier League goals, averaging just short of a goal every three games. Along with the likes of David Brooks and Callum Wilson, King is among the Bournemouth players expected to leave the club this summer.
King may well suit Spurs given his ability to play across the frontline. As well as being a central striker, the big Norwegian can play wide or as a number ten if needed.
King may work for Mourinho, as long as the fee isn’t massive – TBR View
He’s a good footballer Josh King and someone who probably deserves to be playing Premier League football given his efforts for Bournemouth in recent seasons.
However, he’s not the most prolific, so Spurs would need to negotiate a decent deal and not pay over the odds for the transfer to represent good value for money.
They have just done a very good deal to bring Matt Doherty in for around £15m. If they can do similar with King, then it could well be a very astute signing for Mourinho and co.
