Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make a transfer bid for Real Betis forward Loren Moron as a potential back-up and challenger for Harry Kane in North London, according to reports in Spain.
Todo Fichajes is reporting that Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is a fan of the 26-year-old and is hopeful of a deal that would see the Spanish striker reunite with Argentine playmaker Giovani Lo Celso.
The report also claims that Betis would want €25 million (£22m) for the Spanish forward, who started the 2019-20 season with a bang.
Moron scored seven goals in his first eight La Liga appearances this season but has since gone on to score just four more in his next 21 appearances across all competitions.

However, Tottenham have been linked for some time and that apparent price-tag is a major reduction on the previous reported quotation for the player’s services.
Back in March, it was suggested by Diario AS that Los Verdiblancos were not willing to sell Moron this summer for a fee less than €40 million (£35m).
However, given the financial implications of the current global health situation, it would appear that Betis have reconsidered that valuation.
That is a reduction of £13 million, which will undoubtedly have Tottenham licking their lips.
That said, Tottenham are also having to reduce their own transfer operations this summer, so even £22 million may be too much for an unproven striker in the Premier League.
