Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Reegan Mimnaugh has signed a new contract at Hamilton Academical, according to the Scottish Sun.
The 18-year-old broke into the Scottish Premiership side’s first team last season, and has made 11 appearances for the club to date in all competitions.
Mimnaugh’s performances saw him reportedly catch the eye of several English clubs, with Herald Scotland claiming in December that Spurs were keeping tabs on him.

As well as Tottenham, Championship sides Leeds United and Fulham were also believed to be monitoring the teenage midfielder.
According to the Scottish Sun, however, Mimnaugh has snubbed interest from south of the border to pen a new one-year contract at the Fountain of Youth Stadium.
Hamilton boss Brian Rice said of Mimnaugh last season, as reported by the Bailiwick Express: “I’ve got a lot of time for the kid. He never stops working in training, is always out doing extra stuff.
“I said when I first came in when you get into these situations it’s sometimes the kids you want as they have no fear, no anxiety. They play with a freedom. I don’t mind as long as they’re confident in their ability without being arrogant and he certainly isn’t. He’s a top kid.”

Mimnaugh’s technique on the ball saw him impress enough to be linked with some English clubs, but since the start of the new season he hasn’t exactly kicked on.
He has made just five first-team appearances this season, and will now hope that the next step comes next season having signed a new deal.
While Mimnaugh’s new deal rules him out as a Spurs target for the next year, the North Londoners are bound to continue keeping tabs on him to see how he progresses next term.
