Manchester United will rival Tottenham Hotspur for Gareth Bale. According to The Mirror, Manchester United want to sign Bale on loan from Real Madrid.
Spurs have been heavily linked with a move for their former midfield star. Bale made his name at Tottenham before his big-money move to Real Madrid. Last month, he was linked with a return to North London in a £10m loan deal (The Sun).
The Spanish giants want to get rid of Bale on a permanent basis. But no club is willing to match his £75m asking price yet so a loan deal could happen.
Bale’s time at Real Madrid has brought mixed success. The Wales international has been frustrated with his lack of playing time recently, though. And this could see him return to the Premier League.

Man United are desperate to bolster their options across the pitch this summer. The Red Devils had a lacklustre season and want to qualify for the Champions League at least next season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Bale could provide a solution for Man United. He wants to sign the 29-year-old on loan for one year with an option for another season.
Zinedine Zidane has told Bale he has no immediate future at Real Madrid. And the arrival of Eden Hazard could speed up this transfer.
