Tottenham Hotspur have now offered Harry Winks to Roma, while Everton have done similar with Allan, according to a report from Calciomercato.
Jose Mourinho is keen to sign a new midfielder after losing summer signing Gini Wijnaldum to injury. The Giallorossi are reportedly working on a deal for Denis Zakaria.

But Zakaria is not the only option under consideration. In fact, the Serie A side have been contacted by two Premier League clubs about potential moves for their players.
According to Calciomercato, Roma director Tiago Pinto is considering Winks and Allan. Spurs and Everton have already offered the players to the club.

However, it may be bad news for either player if they are hoping to move to the Italian capital. Zakaria is the top target.
Tottenham offered Harry Winks to Roma
It is a blow for the likes of Winks and Allan that Roma seem less convinced about a move for either. Both players surely need to move away before the deadline passes.
Winks is completely out of favour under Antonio Conte. He appears to be fifth-choice in central midfield. And with that, he is yet to feature in a single match day squad.
Allan meanwhile, was named on the bench for the games against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest. However, he did not feature in either game.
Obviously, he is no stranger to Serie A. The 31-year-old made 262 appearances in the competition before his move to Goodison Park. So a return will surely appeal now he is out of favour.
For Winks, he would surely love to secure a new challenge. Plenty of Premier League players have now relaunched their careers in Italy in recent years.
He is an ‘amazing‘ talent. But his development has stagnated. And he will now be worried that an opportunity to move away may not present itself before the end of the window.
