Report: Tottenham eyeing move for Dejan Kulusevski
Tottenham want to sign Swedish youngster and Juventus winger, Dejan Kulusevski, according to reports this weekend from The Mirror.
Kulusevski is struggling to hold down a regular place in the Juventus team this season and Spurs supremo, Fabio Paratici, knows him well. The Italian took the young Swede to Juve while he was there.
The Mirror claims that Spurs are keeping their eye on the 21-year-old and could even make their move for him in January. Fabio Paratici is thought to be keen on a deal, with scouts even having been over to Italy.
Kulusevski is no stranger to the big time. He’s already got 16 caps for Sweden, while Cristiano Ronaldo labelled him as ‘excellent’ just a year ago.
“He is a great talent. He will help us to win and achieve incredible things. I really like to see him, he has a great potential, and he’s an excellent player. I hope to play with him and score a lot of goals together,” Ronaldo said while in Turin.
And with Tottenham struggling for goals this season, it certainly wouldn’t be beyond them to make a move for a new attacking player in January.
TBR’s View: Kulusevski a steal if Tottenham can do it
Kulusevski is up there with being in the group of top talents in Europe and Tottenham would be pulling off quite the coup with this one.
Sure, there is work to be done to make it happen. But Paratici seems to fancy his chances in the Serie A market.
If he can pull it off, then Spurs fans can look forward to an exciting young player arriving in North London.
