Tottenham are reportedly expected to make a move to try sign centre-forward Arkadiusz Milik from Italian top-flight club Napoli.
According to the Express, Spurs have been monitoring the 26-year-old during the summer and are now ready to launch a move to try sign him.
It is understood that the left-footed striker is available to sign this window, as Napoli want to sell him due to the fact his contract expires in one year and he doesn’t want to sign a new deal with them.
The report explains that the Poland international is valued at £26million and is keen to play in the Premier League for the first time in his career.
Milik reportedly had moves to Juventus and Roma fail to materialise this summer, which has left the door open for Spurs to try bring him to North London.
The forward scored 14 goals across all competitions last season for Serie A side Napoli and is a physical presence that is a handful in the box.

TBR’s View:
Jose Mourinho’s Spurs desperately need to sign a striker before the window closes, as they can’t once again go into a season without recognised cover for talisman Harry Kane in attack.
Milik looks like he ticks all the boxes considering he’s a proven goalscorer, has top level experience, plus should have no problems adjusting with the style of English football.
The fact Napoli are looking to sell him should see Spurs drive his £26million price tag down and if they can snap him up for anywhere around the £20million mark it could be a shrewd piece of business.
He’s scored 48 goals in 122 Napoli appearances, while for Dutch giants Ajax he managed 47 goals in just 75 games.
