Tottenham Hotspur are now said to be ‘set to raid’ Wolverhampton Wanderers for Adama Traore by the Daily Mail.
Move incoming?
The report claims that Spurs are now considering making a bid for the winger, who Wolves are willing to sell.
Tottenham would have to pay £45 million to land the powerful forward, but it is a move that they are considering.
With Tottenham also looking to sign Cristian Romero for a sizeable fee from Atalanta, it could be an expensive transfer window for the North London side.
Tottenham have already moved to sign Bryan Gil this summer, but apparently feel that another addition in the forward areas could be needed.
Nuno could also play Traore at right-wing back, as he often did at Wolves, if he was to sign.
The appeal of the move for Tottenham is clear to see too.
Big threat

Traore is one of the most direct players in the Premier League, and he has previously been talked up as ‘amazing’ by Aitor Karanka (The Sun).
Indeed, when Tottenham played Wolves last season, Traore was so destructive that Spurs’ squad apparently asked Jose Mourinho to sign him (Daily Mirror).
Of course, at that time, Tottenham did not pull the trigger and make a move.
However, Nuno knows the powerful wide-man well and it seems that Spurs could reignite their interest this summer.
