Tottenham Hotspur have made Dusan Vlahovic their top choice striker, as they seek a new number nine, the Telegraph report.
Top target
Fabio Paratici is said to be a huge fan of the striker, who bagged with great regularity for Fiorentina last term.
Vlahovic is still only 21, so he has plenty of room to develop, and that is part of the reason why he is valued so highly.
Tottenham apparently could face paying over £40 million to land the target man striker, which would make him one of the most expensive signings in the club’s history.
With Cristian Romero already linked with Tottenham for £47 million (Calcio Mercato), it could be a high spending summer for the North London side.
But they are said to be eager to land Vlahovic, as they believe he would adapt quickly to the Premier League.
Perfect for the Prem?

The reasons for that are clear as not only is Vlahovic a physical specimen, but he is also a strong finisher.
If Tottenham were able to pair him with Harry Kane then they would have a hugely dangerous strike force to pick from, especially with Heung-Min Son in reserve.
But doing a deal could be difficult with Vlahovic’s price tag as large as it is, and Tottenham may be forced to look at cheaper targets.
