Tottenham Hotspur are considering making an approach for Ivan Fresneda, with 90min reporting that Real Valladolid are ready to sell the right-back in the January transfer window.

Fresneda appears to be one of the most exciting prospects in Europe. 90min claims that almost every major European club has shown an interest in the 18-year-old.

And his club are open to letting him leave. In fact, 90min reports that they will sell the youngster for just £17.7 million. And there are certainly a large number of sides ready to make a move.

Tottenham could make approach for Fresneda

According to a report from 90min, plenty of Premier League sides want the right-back. Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle are all considering approaches for the teenager.

The report adds that it is the Magpies who lead the race. However, no agreement has been reached. That will be encouraging for his other admirers as it had been suggested earlier this week that Newcastle were on the verge of sealing a deal.

Spurs’ interest is obviously intriguing. Antonio Conte already has three right wing-backs available to him in his first-team squad, with Djed Spence joining Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the summer.

None of the trio have been able to stamp their authority on the position. Certainly, Emerson has really struggled to win over supporters during his time in North London.

So it would not necessarily be a huge surprise if one of the players left the club this month. And Conte may feel that that would open the door for another player to come in.

Fresneda looks to be a ‘fantastic‘ prospect with a huge ceiling. And clearly, he is going to have some amazing offers to consider in the near future.

Perhaps Tottenham will be amongst those looking to make his decision as difficult as possible.
