Tottenham Hotspur are considering confirming their interest in Franck Kessie with a bid during the January transfer window rather than waiting for his contract to expire, according to a report from The Telegraph.
Kessie is one of the most highly sought-after midfielders playing in Europe right now. He has been superb at AC Milan. And his deal with the Rossoneri runs out at the end of the season.

Tottenham are in the running for Kessie. But they are, by some way, not the only team keen on the 25-year-old. And with that, Spurs are weighing up trying to steal a march on their rivals.
The Telegraph reports that Antonio Conte’s men could make a bid this month. It is believed that the potential outlay in the summer is expected to increase due to the amount of interest.

Interestingly, the report notes that Spurs and Milan are already in talks over a potential move for Japhet Tanganga.
It has previously been suggested that Tanganga has concerns about game-time as Eric Dier and Cristian Romero edging closer to returning from injury.
Tottenham signing Kessie in January could be huge boost after amazing win
Tottenham have put all of their top four rivals on notice with an amazing win. They beat Leicester 3-2 on Wednesday having been 2-1 down well into stoppage-time.
Spurs are now in the driving seat for the Champions League places. And with that, a deal for Kessie this month would be an amazing bit of business. He has been described as ‘very special‘ this season.
Kessie is a player who can tick a variety of boxes. He is probably best known as a holding midfielder. However, he has made a significant impact in the final third.
Kessie scored 13 league goals last season. And he has already another five this time around.
Tottenham are crying out for a player who can create from the middle of the park. Kessie may be the perfect addition.
