Oliver Skipp is almost always near the top of the running stats at Tottenham Hotspur, with the midfielder really enjoying playing under Antonio Conte, according to a report from The Athletic.
Spurs have been without Skipp since January due to injury. But he handed the club a massive boost by signing a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur this week.

It has been an outstanding campaign for the midfielder. It is very easy to forget that he was playing in the Championship just last year, on loan with Norwich.
He has settled superbly. And despite Tottenham forcing their way into pole position for fourth spot in the Premier League, there is plenty of anticipation surrounding Skipp’s return to the fold.

The Athletic reports that the coaches are excited about the prospect of Skipp playing alongside Rodrigo Bentancur. And it is not hard to see why he is looked at as a perfect player for Conte.
Conte pushes his team extremely hard. And The Athletic suggests that Skipp is almost always near top spot when it comes to the running statistics.
Meanwhile, it is noted that he is loving working with Conte.
Tottenham fans can be seriously excited about prospect of Conte pushing Skipp in coming years
Skipp was a shining light during Nuno Espirito Santo’s brief tenure. He became the midfielder Tottenham could not be without despite having to make the step up from last season.
And he continued to remain a key man following Conte’s appointment.
Of course, it is no secret that Conte is one of the world’s best managers. But he also won Serie A five times and the Champions League once in his playing days as a midfielder.
So there does not seem to be anyone better for Skipp to learn from in the years to come.
