Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Porto hotshot Ze Luis, according to Portuguese TV station SIC Noticias.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is thought to be nearing the swoop thanks to super-agent Jorge Mendes.
Harry Kane’s injury has seen the need for a striker intensify at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Ze Luis will arrive on loan until the end of the current campaign.

The 28-year-old is a 17-time Cape Verde international and has been in red hot form this season. He has netted eight goals from his 20 appearances in a Porto short during 2019/20.
Bizarrely Ze Luis is currently nursing a knee injury, although it isn’t believed to be serious and the loan deal should still go through.
The ex-Spartak Moscow man bagged 14 goals for the Russian outfit last season and clearly knows where the back of the net is.
Ze Luis is powerful, leads the line with intelligence and is a strong header of the ball.
His style is not too dissimilar to that of Kane’s and if Mourinho can get him firing on all cylinders, Tottenham could have themselves a player.
A deal for Ze Luis could be nearing completion and it seems like a savvy deal from a Spurs perspective in their quest for a striker.
TBR View – Not a big name but Cape Verde ace could be ideal
Tottenham fans might have hoped for a bigger name than the 6ft striker but this could be a good deal.

He possesses very similar qualities to those of Kane and with lots of creativity in the team, he should get plenty of chances to score.
Gedson Fernandes is set to sign for Tottenham this week too and if Ze Luis arrives too it would be a decent week for Mourinho.
The Porto man fills a void that badly needs addressing at Tottenham and supporters will hope he can hit the ground running.
