Report: Tottenham battling Pochettino and Manchester United to sign Inter star
Brozovic, 28, is out of contract next summer. A regular for Inter, he clocked up his 250th outing for the San Siro club this month since joining in 2015.
The 66-time Croatia international has been a servant to Inter over the last six years. A real stalwart in midfield for the Serie A giants.
However, he has out of contract in June 2022. They are in contract talks with Brozovic, but he wants as much as £99,000 a week to stay.
The report states that Inter are going to struggle to meet those demands, with cash flow an issue. Three clubs are looking to take advantage.
Manchester United need a midfielder, Fabio Paratici has plenty of Italian connections and Pochettino’s PSG are renowned for using the Bosman rule.
Which club needs Brozovic most: Man United, Tottenham or PSG?
Manchester United brought in Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo – but perhaps, the main position they needed, was a midfielder.
PSG, meanwhile, are well-stocked in the middle of the park. Leandro Paredes, Marco Verratti, Gini Wijnaldum, Idrissa Gueye and plenty more.
Pochettino’s side brought in Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, Wijnaldum and Lionel Messi all joined PSG last summer for nothing.
Tottenham, meanwhile, need additions in the middle of the park – with a lack of quality alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
