Tottenham Hotspur are said to be ‘baffled’ by Christian Eriksen’s reluctance to enter into contract talks.
The Mirror report that club officials have offered in excess of £200,000-a-week to get the playmaker to stay put, but he is not willing to sit down and negotiate as he eyes a move to Real Madrid, Barcelona or Juventus.

Earlier this summer, in an interview with Ekstrabladet, Eriksen declared he wanted to experience a new challenge.
Despite that, no offers have come in for the 27-year-old and time is ticking until the Spanish and Italian transfer windows close.
Eriksen currently earns around £75,000-a-week (Spotrac), so Spurs are willing to more than double his wages and put him alongside Harry Kane as a top earner at the club.
TBR’s view
If Eriksen really won’t entertain any Spurs talks, then the club pretty much know it really is a matter of him wanting a new challenge.

Spurs are a brilliant club to be at right now, with the new stadium, the manager, a solid team and experience of arecent European final.
There are so many reasons for Eriksen to stick around, so it’s understandable chiefs are ‘baffled’.
It certainly seems the player has his heart set on that new challenge, and he definitely has the ability to shine in a team such as Real, Barca or Juve.
