Report: Tottenham, Arsenal and three other Premier League sides eye 19-year-old
The Daily Star have claimed that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are two of five Premier League clubs interested in signing 19-year-old playmaker Dejan Zukic this summer.
Serbia Under-21 international Zukic has already clocked up 38 senior appearances for top-tier side Vojvodina – 28 of which have come this season. He has scored six goals for the Serbian outfit, prompting interest from England.
The report states that Tottenham, Arsenal, Everton, Leicester City and Southampton are all interested in signing Zukic. The youngster has also shown versatility, playing in the 10 role, out wide and even up front.
Olympiakos and Inter Milan have made enquiries to sign the highly-rated youngster, but the chances are he could be on his way to England with five of the Premier League’s biggest sides interested.

TBR’s view – Zukic could save a Premier League side plenty of cash
In the current climate, clubs are unlikely to spend big. Indeed, Tottenham Hotspur have taken out a huge £175million loan in order to balance the books – while Arsenal have agreed a wage deferral.
Bringing in Zukic for a cheap fee could see Spurs, Arsenal or other clubs fill a gap where previously they would spend big, or offer out enormous wages – perhaps on the likes of Willian or other available players.
Zukic, though unproven, is a chance for Premier League clubs to save some money.
