According to Milan News, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, alongside Arsenal, are the trio of Premier League clubs chasing the signature of Suso this summer.
Both the Hammers and Spurs will be keen to upgrade their squads this summer. Suso has just enjoyed a fine season in Serie A with AC Milan and could be the man to add an extra spark of creativity in the final third for either side.
The 25-year-old managed 8 goals and 9 assists in all competitions for the Italian outfit last season. The Spaniard also has plenty of potential for improvement and his versatility means that he could slot in in either a central or a wide berth for either of the London clubs.
If Suso were available for a bargain fee, then he may be worth a punt on the part of the Spurs. However, given his recent form, AC Milan will likely attach a hefty price tag to the No. 8. This should put Mauricio Pochettino off pursuing a deal.
Suso has had his chance to shine on English shores before, when he was on the books at Anfield. He failed to take that opportunity. It would be a risk for Spurs to spend a huge amount on a player who has failed to impress in the Premier League in the past.
West Ham may be more suited to Suso’s talents, and he could really shine at the London Stadium. However, the Irons’ recent acquisition of Pablo Fornals probably means there is no room for Suso in Manuel Pellegrini’s squad.
