Italian newspaper TuttoSport have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are rivalling a number of European heavyweights for Parma wonderkid Dejan Kulusevski.
Just 19 years of age, Kulusevski left Atalanta in the summer to join Parma on a season-long loan and he has since clocked up 14 appearances for the Serie A outfit. He has netted three times, and also shown his creativity with five assists.
Able to play in attacking midfield or out wide, Kulusevski has found the back of the net against Bologna, Torino and Genoa and has even earned his first cap for Sweden. His future has been discussed aplenty in Italy, as he continues to shine.
It is believed both Spurs and Manchester United are interested in the attacker, who is valued at £38.5million by his parent club. Inter Milan and Juventus are also said to be keen on the player, who has a contract until the summer of 2023.
TBR’s view – Who needs him more, Solskjaer or Mourinho?
Jose Mourinho has excellent depth and quality in attack. Out wide, Spurs boast Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon out wide, while Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen in the number 10 role.
Manchester United, meanwhile, could do with an addition out wide. The United squad is a mix of overpaid, under-performing players and exciting, but raw talent. Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial the former.
Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong and Dan James the latter. United could do with an addition out wide but perhaps one who has played more than just 14 senior matches. A move to Spurs looks more attractive right now.
