Tottenham and London rival Arsenal are both reported interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez.
According to ESPN, there is some strong interest in a host of Wolves players ahead of the summer and they could have a battle to keep their stars at Molineux.
The report explains that both Spurs and Arsenal are keen on their talisman Jimenez, who is on their transfer radar.
Jimenez has been in sensational form for Wolves this campaign, helping them to the last 16 of the Europa League and they sit sixth in the Premier League as well chasing down a Champions League finish.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed a purple patch in his career since a first move to England with Wolves and is their leading man in attack who can score all types of goals.
He’s scored 22 goals in 43 games across all competitions this season, as well as chipping in with 10 assists too.
Jimenez deserves to be in the conversation for one of the best strikers in the Premier League at present, which is why he would be an excellent signing for either Spurs of Arsenal.
Jose Mourinho’s Spurs have very little in their squad at centre-forward beyond current injured star Harry Kane, so strengthening that area of the pitch in the summer has to be a priority and the Wolves man would be a sensational addition.
Meanwhile, Arsenal do have a number of quality options in forward positions at the Emirates Stadium, but Jimenez would be brilliant for any of the top sides and it would be interesting to see what kind of price tag he would have.
