Report: Tottenham and Arsenal have now made contact over £29.2m star
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have both reportedly made contact over a potential move for Juventus starlet Dejan Kulusevski in the last few days, according to a report from Calciomercato.
It has been a strange campaign for the Sweden international. He has actually not featured in just three Serie A games so far this term. However, he has completed 90 minutes just as rarely.
Calciomercato reports that his agent is working to find the 21-year-old a new club. Sevilla had hoped to take Kulusevski on loan. But Juve want a permanent sale. Their asking price is £29.2 million.
Sevilla will decide in the coming days if they shall return to the negotiating table. But perhaps they may have to be prepared for some competition from two Premier League sides.
Calciomercato claims that both Arsenal and Spurs have made contact over Kulusevski in the last few days.
Tottenham and Arsenal may not need to rush into Kulusevski decision
Both clubs have been linked with a possible deal for Kulusevski for some time. In fact, Tottenham were considering offering Argentinian midfielder Giovani Lo Celso in a swap deal, recent reports claimed.
Arsenal and Tottenham arguably find themselves in a strong position as they take their time over a move. Unfortunately, it is hard to see too many sides offering big money for Kulusevski right now.
He has not had the easiest time with the Old Lady. And thus, paying £29.2 million will seem a gamble to some. He is yet to score for Juve this season.
Perhaps, Tottenham and Arsenal are just making sure that they are kept in the loop regarding Kulusevski and his future.
Should Sevilla come back with a bid however, they will have a decision to make.
