Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a bid for Danny Ings of Southampton, EuroSport say.
Bid incoming
Ings has emerged as Tottenham’s top strike target this summer, as Nuno looks to bring in a forward.
Nuno wants to play with a two striker formation at Tottenham, which means that more options other than Harry Kane will be needed.
EuroSport even suggests that two new number nines could arrive at Spurs this summer to give Nuno the tools he needs.
And it seems that Tottenham are now about to push ahead with their move for Ings, who has been called ‘outstanding’ by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool FC).
Southampton are said to be braced for an offer and expect the bid to be below their £20 million valuation of their star forward.

If Ings does move to Tottenham he could be a hugely appealing addition to their squad.
If Spurs could keep Kane and partner him with Ings then they would have two of the most proven goalscorers in the Premier League playing together.
With Heung-Min Son and Dele Alli also options behind the striker, Spurs would surely have all the attacking quality needed to really challenge for a top four squad.
And it seems that Spurs are now really getting to work with building the squad that Nuno wants in North London.
