Tottenham have Norwich City wizard Todd Cantwell on their radar this summer, according to Football London.
The 22-year-old suffered relegation with the Canaries and will almost certainly earn a Premier League reprieval.
Cantwell played in 37 of Norwich’s 38 top-flight contests, scoring six goals and registering two assists.
Jose Mourinho will go in search of some new players for his squad this summer, with the versatile forward in his sights.
Signing the Norwich star won’t come easily, with Liverpool, Manchester United and Leicester City all thought to be keen.
It’s thought that Cantwell may have caught the eye during an FA Cup game this season. The Norwich man was brilliant as the Canaries sent Tottenham packing from the competition.
Cantwell is valued at £30 million by the recently relegated outfit, with the youngster a product of their academy.
Tottenham suffered from a lack of strength in depth last season and several new additions will probably be sought this summer.
Forward options will be high on Mourinho’s list and Cantwell was a shining light in a drab campaign for Norwich.
He typically operates on the left-wing but has shown his value on the right and as a No.10 over the past season.
Interestingly, Cantwell will have a decision to make if Spurs do show their hand; the England under-21 man was a boyhood Arsenal supporter.
