Takumi Minamino could be handed the chance to start for Liverpool in tonight’s FA Cup clash with Chelsea, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Japanese forward has only started three games for the Reds having joined in January from Red Bull Salzburg.
Minamino has scored nine goals and registered 11 assists this season and boss Jurgen Klopp has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to get him ready for English football.

The Osaka-born player has scored 11 goals in 22 caps for Japan and there are high hopes for him on Merseyside.
Liverpool will likely ring the changes for tonight’s trip to Stamford Bridge; opening the door for Minamino to shine.
His only appearances in the Premier League so far in England have all come off the bench in games against Wolves, Southampton and Watford on Saturday.
He did start games against Everton and the away trip to Shrewsbury, however.
The report claims that Minamino could earn a start along with Adrian who is set to play in goal, Joel Matip, Adam Lallana and Divock Origi.
English football is often deemed more demanding than other European countries with more competitions and a domestic league where most games are competitive.

The challenge for Minamino is to prove his worth when he does get the opportunity to impress – starting at Chelsea tonight.
Minamino cost £7.2 million (BBC) and boss Klopp will now that he needs time to adapt to the English game.
With quality players around him, he should slot in seamlessly and supporters will hope he can play his part in reaching the quarter-final this evening.
