Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Loren Moron is set to sign a new contract at Real Betis, according to Canal Sur Radio.
The Spanish striker has been linked with Spurs for a number of months, Todo Fichajes recently reporting that Jose Mourinho is a fan of the 26-year-old.
The report claimed that the Tottenham boss was hopeful of a deal that would see Moron – valued at around £22million – reunite with Giovani Lo Celso.
Indeed, Estadio Deportivo claimed in April that Moron, who played alongside Lo Celso at Betis last season, was keen on joining the Argentine at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Moron has enjoyed a good rise this season, going from a misfiring forward reportedly on the verge of being jettisoned by his club to allegedly being sought after by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
However, it looks as though the player will stick rather than twist, and with a contract taking him to 2024, that would be it for any interest Spurs may have had in him.
