Tottenham Hotspur have received a big injury boost with the club confirming on Twitter that both Moussa Sissoko and Ben Davies have returned to training after overcoming injuries.
Sissoko has been out since New Year’s Day, while Davies has missed Spurs’ last three games. But it appears that the pair may not be too far off making a return to Jose Mourinho’s side.
Unfortunately however, the London Evening Standard reports that both men are not expected to be fit for Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.
But there is some positive injury news ahead of the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The London Evening Standard reports that Davinson Sanchez is set to be available to face Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.
The report noted that Sanchez missed Tuesday’s defeat to RB Leipzig due to a minor knock.
It is a boost for Spurs to have the Colombian back. Tottenham conceded three goals in Germany. And they are facing a United side high on confidence after their victory over Manchester City last weekend.
And it will please a lot of supporters to see both Davies and Sissoko back in the near future. The Frenchman, in particular, is an incredibly popular member of the squad.
In his absence, Tottenham have won just three league games. So his return to their lineup will be very welcome.
