West Ham United are currently in freefall, having continued their current winless streak which has now extended to eight games.
There are various reasons why the Hammers are now struggling. The worrying dip in form from Felipe Anderson and Pablo Fornals, the goal-shy summer recruit Sebastian Haller and a very leaky defence are all to blame. But most West Ham fans appear to be pointing the finger at their replacement goalkeeper Roberto.
West Ham’s regular number one, the beloved Lukasz Fabianski, is out of action with a hip injury and the summer signing from Espanyol has come in to replace him.

However, the 33-year-old has put in a succession of disappointing performances and West Ham fans are fairly livid with his displays.
It also seems that the West Ham players are not wholly convinced. As reported by The Telegraph, the West Ham players ‘have little faith’ in the Spanish custodian.
West Ham also signed David Martin in the summer, the former Millwall stopper, and it appears fans would much rather see him given a chance at present, such is the form of Roberto’s.
It does not sound as if that idea would go down too badly with the West Ham first-team squad either.
