It appears that Tottenham Hotspur could be in the hunt for German international Julian Draxler. That is, according to France Football. As relayed by Sport Witness, Tottenham have identified the player as a potential Christian Eriksen replacement.
Top Mercato are also reporting the news, suggesting Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are also interested in the 25-year-old. A price-tag between €30-€40 (£26.4-£35.3) million has been mentioned with PSG needing to balance their books due to FFP. However, massive wages of €8m-a-year (£7m-a-year, £136,000-a-week) will make any deal tough for Tottenham to pull off.

Draxler played 46 times for the French champions last season, so it is odd that Thomas Tuchel would consider letting his fellow countryman go.
But for Tottenham, Draxler would be the perfect replacement if Eriksen does indeed force an exit in the summer.
His arrival would also get one over on North London rivals Arsenal. The Gunners tried to sign Draxler on numerous occasions under Arsene Wenger. In fact, in 2014, Arsenal looked set to sign Draxler for £30 million from Schalke 04, as reported by the Daily Mail. However, as reported by The Mirror, Arsenal were way short of Schalke’s valuation for a player Wenger was a huge fan of.
Tottenham, it seems, are now keen on finally bringing Draxler to North London. However, considering the wages involved, this could easily end the same way as his last North London transfer links.
