Celtic defender Anthony Ralston might soon have the chance to go out on loan, with St Johnstone apparently keen on his signature.
As reported by The Herald, the Scottish Premiership side are on the hunt for a new right-back following Richard Foster’s tumultuous exit to Ross County.
The Saints boss Tommy Wright is said to be ‘keen’ on Ralston and is ready to make a swoop on Celtic for his services.
The loan window closes on Monday for Scottish clubs so the matter will have to be handled quickly if a deal is to go through in time.

TBR’s View
This would undoubtedly be the best decision for all concerned. St Johnston need a new right-back and Ralston is a talented individual who needs regular playing time.
That is not happening at Celtic, with Neil Lennon clearly not sold on the 20-year-old. Celtic had the opportunity to give the youngster a chance this season with the departures of Mikael Lustig and Cristian Gamboa. Instead, they have signed Hatem Abd Elhamed and Moritz Bauer.
Giving Ralston the chance to play some regular football and improve his game is now the best course of action.
