Report suggests Spurs are very interested in Manchester United target Erling Haaland

Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs very interested in Erling Haaland, with a report from TuttomercatoWeb suggesting that the Manchester United target’s future may soon lie away from Germany.

Haaland has been a revelation since moving to Borussia Dortmund during the January transfer window. And it appears that the interest in him is going to make it difficult for the Bundesliga side to keep him beyond this summer.

TBR View – Tottenham would make incredible statement with Haaland signing

Haaland has become one of Europe’s most talked about players, particularly over the last 12 months. He was sensational in the months leading up to his switch to Dortmund.

And he has continued to leave everyone stunned at Westfalenstadion.

The striker has scored nine goals in eight Bundesliga appearances, averaging better than one goal every hour. He has also scored 10 goals in the Champions League for the two clubs.

In total, he has 36 goals in all competitions this term.

It would therefore, be a huge statement for Spurs to sign the youngster this summer.

Losing Harry Kane is a worst case scenario for many Tottenham fans. However, landing Haaland as his replacement appears to have the potential to be a masterstroke.

To have both men in the same squad however, could be absolutely devastating for all of the sides in the Premier League and in Europe.

It remains to be seen if Spurs have any chance of signing Haaland. But what a message it would send out if Jose Mourinho could get him to North London.
