Tottenham Hotspur are ready to let Danny Rose leave this summer. According to The Sun, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is happy for the 28-year-old to leave as they look to fund summer transfer activity. One such signing would be that of Ryan Sessegnon, as Rose’s replacement, with a £35 million fee reported.
Rose’s future at Tottenham has been in doubt for some time but it now seems as though the North London side are ready to move him on.
However, the report does highlight a potential stumbling block in any potential exit – Rose’s wages.

It is suggested that Rose is on £80,000-a-week at Tottenham currently. The Premier League teams currently keen on the England international would not be willing to do a deal that includes such a salary, according to the report.
TBR’s View
It seems hard to believe that teams would not be willing to pay Rose £80,000-a-week. However, with Financial Fair Play biting hard, clubs are trying to keep wages to a minimum. Considering Rose turns 29 next month, many may feel his wages need to start dropping.
However, Rose found some of his best form again last season and is easily one of the best left-backs in Europe.
Tottenham will surely be able to find a buyer for the England star.
