Arsenal’s luck could be in over Dayot Upamecano, with RB Leipzig reportedly confident of landing a replacement for the Frenchman.
According to Le Parisien, the Bundesliga outfit are ‘confident’ of doing a deal for defender Tanguy Kouassi of Paris Saint-Germain.

The highly rated 17-year-old supposedly sees the current German league leaders as a favourable environment in which to develop and boost his international prospects.
Should the deal come to fruition then it should be the catalyst for Upamecano to leave the club, the report suggests.
The 21-year-old was linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer, with Bild reporting a £55 million bid was tabled by the Gunners.
Upamecano is currently one of Europe’s most promising young central defenders, alongside partner and compatriot Ibrahima Konate.
TBR’s view – Arsenal boost
If Leipzig do indeed have their replacement for Upamecano sorted, then a deal to sign the talented youngster could well be on for Arsenal in the summer.

It could be that Leipzig would actually have to sell for less than the £55 million previously offered by Arsenal, as he’ll only have 12 months left on his contract by the point of next summer.
Upamecano would be an amazing coup for the long-term by the club, and would excite fans massively given William Saliba is already on his way.
